I've been thinking about adding a PM Daytona for a while now.
There have been quite a few posts lately.
So yesterday, I walked into my local AD and talked to them about my collection and the direction I was headed. That a PM Daytona would be a logical addition.
After talking through my "strategy" for a bit, my AD said "wait a second, I'll be right back."
I never thought I'd hear that phrase!
Out comes a rose gold daytona ... which was quite a nice piece.
After a bit more conversation, another "wait a second"
Out comes a white gold daytona on oysterflex bracelet.
I had actually been talking about the same watch but in rose gold.
However once I saw this one in person, it was a clear winner.

In person, this time piece has quite a bit of wrist presence.
This is another example of how much relationships matter, I've been shopping there for a few years now.

Well that is a major score. Clearly your AD knows you are a wearer and genuine in your decision making process. That speaks volumes in showing you are thinking long term in your collection.

I am also a Daytona guy and a Porsche guy. I am assuming that you own a 718 GT4 because I have the same book and I did not buy it. Porsche sent it to me about a month after I purchased my GT4.
