If a blue dial Daytona came out in stainless steel and ceramic bezel...

Would it overtake the Panda dial Daytona as the most popular Rolex?

Ceramic bezel can be any color. Blue, black... whatever.

For a time, yes. Long-term, though, the white dial steel Daytona has really endured.

On a tangential note, I do hope to see more ceramic, in more colors, on more models you wouldn't expect it on.

Blue ceramic on the YM falcon's eye. A ceramic insert for a new TOG.

yes it would, especially if it's not a single color, but a radial from blue to black for example. But I really doubt it would do that for SS, it'll probably be reserved for WG version.

I’m sure they would the first 6-18 months, but not in the long run.

The panda chrono color config for chronos tends to be the most desirable across other brands, too. The Tokyo 2020 panda Speedys go for more than blue Tokyo 2020 and blue Gemini Speedys, for instance, and the panda Snoopy goes for more than the blue Snoopy.

I've not been interested in the Daytona, but a blue bezel blue dial in white gold on bracelet
would probably change my view.

Wonder if the Daytona would see some of the stone dials others are starting to. Like the YM and DD40. There’s already meteorite but I think the next evolution in dials will be hard-to-work-with materials, like the onyx DD.

Would love to see a navy blue cerachrome bezel with a navy blue panda dial. That would be stunning, but maybe too close in resemblance to the current model

I wouldn’t think they make the same mistake twice. That dial is for white gold, so i wouldn’t imagine that did that again, like they did with the white gold Pepsi.

I'm not sure if this will be released but I will definitely ask my AD for one if there is a blue dial SS sport with ceramic bezel insert.

Thats Dope!

I have always wondered why more PM Daytonas dont come with a Cermic Bezel (I know this is meant to be SS but the blue dial reminded me of the WG)

Looks like a Tag Heuer in the rendering.

Probably looks great IRL

Was just thinking that same thing! But I can't imagine the actual one would come with a black bezel. Would have to be matching blue. Which would go on a PM watch first. And still look equally awesome.

Seeing these, I'm reminded of the Daytona configuration I really miss: the TT w/blue Arabic dial. Rarely am I a TT fan, even less often w/YG, but that watch just worked so well.

Meh. I cant even imagine that. Would need to see a render. But at this time, i say panduh would still be more desired.

I love the rendering, but I do think they would tweak the dial a bit since they don't like certain PM dials on the SS pieces and vice versa. I do think that adding a blue ceramic dial would elevate it, more in the colorway of the BLRO.
