Here's a few more pictures of the birds that are around at the moment. The migration has started and we are enjoying a wide variety of birds. Here's just a sample of what's on offer.

A marsh sandpiper

Western reef heron

Socotra cormorant water skiing

Slender-billed gull. I like the way he's lookin round.

Juvenile redshank

Another shot of the redshank. They are very rapid flyers and this was hard to catch.

Northern wheatear (I like this one)

Steppe grey shrike. Last year one visited for a few months, I'd like to think it's the same bird.

Pied wheatear, another favourite.

Great pictures Adrian that water looks very dirty,reminds me of Barry Island in the old days.
