1984 Heuer 11063V Autavia Chronograph Viceroy Style Unpolished All Original 1 Owner
For sale is a very good condition, unpolished and all original 42mm stainless steel Heuer Autavia Chronograph “Viceroy” Style. The 11063V originally left the factory in 1984, and is not accompanied by box or papers.
The Heuer features a brushed steel case with polished beveled edges, which is accented by a unidirectional steel bezel that is set with a black tachymeter insert. The Autavia is mounted on its original OEM steel jubilee bracelet, which is secured by a safety lock deployment clasp. The bracelet appears to be fully linked, and will comfortably fit a wrist in excess of 7.5 inches with its divers extension closed. The Autavia features a black dial with applied polished stick hour markers, polished tritium coated hands, a date window aperture at 6 o’clock, and sub dial registers at 3 and 9 o’clock. The movement used in the 11063V is the Heuer Caliber 12, which is running and functioning flawlessly with a strong amplitude. The case has stood the test of time exceptionally well, retaining crisp brush lines / chamfers, and remains unpolished, with the only sign of previous wear being some faint surface level hairline scratches, which are consistent with careful daily wear by the original owner. The Jubilee bracelet has also been preserved well and remains unpolished, and contains stretch that is consistent with its age. Overall the Heuer is in very good condition, and is a well preserved one owner example of last generation 1980s Autavia. Furthermore, the Autavia line was discontinued at the beginning of 1986, after Heuer was acquired by the T.A.G group in 1985, and subsequently became TAG Heuer from 1986 onward.
