Pig !!!

Went to the under 9 Rugby confederation/provincial weekend. The regional winners competing for the provincial title. My sons team won the Plate final and the bronze medal. They are a small school, competing in the big schools event.I think they did brilliantly !! Nerve wrecking, close and highly competative matches !!

The trusty 104 on a Light French Ammo Kevin/BigB went with .

Look at the trophy and you will see the pig !! ...... and a proud Dad

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Louie, the strap is a Kevin/BigB Ammo Light French,beige/ligh tan stitch,in 25/25(I use 24mm tubes with it) 160/90 with slightly bent polished pre-V style Kevin custom made buckle.

One of my favourite straps for the slightly heavier 104.The slightly broader 25mm strap feels very balanced on the wrist.

nice choice of watch for the event :)...looks great on that strap...thats one neat PAM :)

and definitely, the PIG is awesome...is there a story why they have this specific trophy?..its very different from any trophy I've seen and is scary a bit but wow awesome :)

Congratulations to the team for a good win.

Hey Neef,

You are looking more and more like a bloody Aussie every day - all you need are a few corks.

Aussie flies are lazy, the come and they sit.Thats why you need the corks dangling from the hats .... South African flies are active ,they sit, they fly away.Thats why we dont need the corks ... Anyway,it winter and not many flies around.

They play barefoot in primary school.High school with boots. They won their second game with a drop kick from over the 22m line.Brilliant kick for a 8 year old !! They won 8-5,in that game.

Since this were the best under 9 teams, all winners of their own region, the intencity was ferocious. Some of those tackles were just unbelievable !!! Quite scary for us parents at times !!

The quality of the rugby amazed me.Game plan, defense and attacking lines, all there.I must say,I enjoyed the rugby imensely and considering the quality of the opposition, our team getting the bronze medal, quite a feat.

I'll say! You clearly are a very proud father and have every right to be so. My fifteen year old lad who also loves playing the game was amazed and impressed too when I showed him the pics.

The Kevin/BigB Ammos straps are NOT inexpensive.I liked them and turned the penny around for a few months before actually deciding to go for one. What pursuaded me was the fact that the could do it for me in 25/25 and make a custom buckle that will fit 25mm.The buckle is also very nice.IMO,the best I have seen, with J&S a close second, but also very nice.Got the light French and liked it so much that I ordered the medium colour Gustov too.On the 104,these two are my favourite straps. In a nut shell, expensive but worth it.
