Cnbc report

Interesting article(few weeks back)about luxury watch supply in particularly AP. Wonder if I’ll make the 30% allocation per CEO since I never owned a AP.Going to make my way to the AD and hope for the best

Is this the article you are referring to? It is much easier to have a discussion if we can easily read what you are talking about.

Maybe 30% refers to the Code?

Code production is too low for that, even if all Codes went to first-time AP buyers.

Relationship is the key. I'm not C Level but got 16202st allocation. Anyone can start journey with the brand.

Very nice! But also okay to admit you are just an O (owner) of the company and not CEO.

Much easier than openworked or ceramic. Once you’re 3-4 pieces in, it’s a good time to ask

“He also said he wants 30% of all watches to go to buyers who have never owned an Audemars Piguet, to keep bringing in new customers.“

The above quotes are from the CNBC reporting, never owing a AP I wonder what my chances are now with no history?

The 30% number has been stated by FHB in a number of interviews. 30% means each boutique has to about 3 watches per week for new customers. They certainly get more than 1 request every other day. But chances are non-zero.
