Patek question

Hello all,
Rolex guy here. Do not know much of Patek. A very good friend of mine offered me this watch, as his father needs to sell it. I have no idea of how valuable is it, but would like to offer a fair price. I am not planning to resell it, so will keep it. Any input is appreciated . thanks

I’m sorry if I’m gonna sound rude, but every time there’s a post about a “friend” given Patek, the picture is usually as blur as it can be. It’s even more surprising when we are already in the year 2023 and even basic iPhone camera can take pretty decent photos….

Secondly, unless someone with more experience can correct me then I stand corrected, that Watch looks like a counterfeit watch. I don’t think Patek has ever produced something like that with blue hands and blue hour markers. Again, the picture is BLURRY and it’s hard to even read the “Patek Philippe” signature on the dial. So unless there’s a clearer photo, one can post anything and ask if it’s real. Similar things have happened on Reddit where people asked if a Rolex or PP is real, and 95% of the time is just fake. The 5% do turn out to be real unearth beauties.

Picture is horrible nobody could discern anything from it but if I had to bet I’d wager it’s not Patek.

Fair price? USD $10.00.

Your "good friend" is either not a good friend at all or ignorant and credulous.

Thanks everybody. This is the picture that was sent by my friend. I have not seen the watch in person, and after the comments, I am not planning to.

Just tell your friend if he is serious he better provide clear pictures and go from there.
FWIW, even if it was real I wouldn’t like how it looks.

Table looks like real hardwood; that could be worth something.

The strap is not factory for what that is worth. Does the buckle say PP?
