Explorer II - More Photos
I've had this watch a little over 2 months now. Loving every minute of it. I wear this watch day in day out, and it doesn't sit locked up in a drawer or safe. From what I can tell, it is keeping excellent time.
Handheld macro photography is a real pain in the butt:).

I feel this watch is under rated and not appreciated it as much. I've hardly seen anyone wear it as oppose to the submariners, DJs, and GMTs. But today I spotted 4 different people wearing it while I was walking around east village enjoying a cup of gelato. And I also happen to spot Mary Luis Parker hanging out at an Italian restaurant waiting to be seated. Nothing like NYC.

Nice watch! I have the white dial, used to wear it most days but then treated myself to the Daytona....that was supposed to be my 'special occasion' watch but unfortunately the Explorer II hasn't seen much daylight since...!

One of the under-rated watches in the Rolex line-up, but still such a practical watch to have in one's collection!! Well done!!

Out of my entire collection my EXP II and Ball is getting the most wrist time. Perhaps I should get rid of the rest and treat myself to a sub no date.

I love my Black EX II... They are all nice though aren't they? I know it's part of the experience, but my only fear with this watch is scratching the bezel... Awesome pics, I need to take some better ones...

Don't worry too much, Dave. When your bezel is beaten up enough Rolex can change it - it's not part of the case.

Do you own any other pieces or the EXP II is your daily beater?

I've always loved the explorer II. I've owned two of them my self. Both white. That watch seems to be a real hit with the medical profession. I can't count how many I've sold to Doctors. That is the one watch I would never part with, again.
