Crown sizes the same GMT vs Sub (ceramic)

I always loved the bigger crowns present on subs. Are they now the same size as I remember reading somewhere? Also no effect on water resistance correct?

GMT / Sub triplock crowns are exactly the same in size and wr rating AFAIK.

Oh ok.. WR rating for the watch overall? 300 vs 100?

WR for the triplock crown itself would be well in excess of 300m. SD4K was fitted with the exact same crown iirc.
Now WR for the watch is limited to 100 m for the GMT, triplock crown notwithstanding. That is because of the thinner case back compared to that of a Sub.

GMT has a thinner case back that deforms too much at 30 bar pressure.
