Is it real?
Disclaimer: I do not have a picture
I ran into someone the other day (friend of a friend) who has, what appears to be, a blue faced/bezeled SS Submariner. This is not a TT, all SS. It has holes in the case so I know it's not the new WG version. I didn't see it up close but I believe it had an automatic movement, Rolex crown, and correct markers. I have never come across a Sub like this and don't think one exists. Is it a fake? Thoughts? |

If it isn't white gold then it's likely a fake.

Rolex did make a SS Submariner with a blue dial and blue bezel for the Asian market.
Having said that, I think the chance of your friends watch being one of them is highly unlikely and it is probably a fake.
