Alcaraz Wimbledon Winner - Daytona?

Was he wearing a gold Daytona on a rubber strap? Only 20, so not sure he has a brand but they will be coming after him! Congrats Carlos!

He’s definitely a sponsored athlete - Rolex and tennis go hand in hand. Plus he’s world no.1!

I clocked a yellow gold, rubber strap, white dial
Daytona

I actually don’t think he was sponsored prior to Wimbledon. But he is on their Instagram now.

Thanks goodness Rolex got him before shoddy omega lol

He’s been sponsored by Rolex for a year or so. His first Rolex was the green OP. After he won his first grand slam last year he’s usually been spotted wearing the 116518 with meteorite dial.

I think it's telling he won the US Open (slowest HC of the 4 GSs) and the next one he wins is on grass.

Federer and Nadal were very much specialists in the old school sense (grass and clay respectively) that were forced to adapt their games to the newer era (both very well). Novak adapted it even better, but I still argue his game was best suited to slower surfaces and he was aided greatly by the homogenization of court speeds and playing styles. Not taking anything away from him, he adapted better than the other 2 and is the GOAT imo.

But Alcaraz is the new breed. He came of age completely in this era of homogenization, and truly has a top tier game in basically every area of tennis from a ridiculously young age. He is truly incredible and it's awesome seeing the next evolution of tennis.

Seems to have a nice watch collection as well. Sponsored by Rolex at 18 and has a couple of Daytonas, AP, PP, vintage sub.

Not too bad at all - well done sir. At that age, I struggled to pay for a dinner for 2.

Definitely feels like a changing of the guard in tennis which is long overdue though Djokovic, Federer, Nadal, Murray will take some matching as basically a tennis era of their own.

So young and so talented already. A great revenge after his defeat at Roland Garros. I'm proud my country can produce such a promising athlete. Well done, Carlos.

Great 5th set. Amazing composure for a 20 year old. I saw him put the Daytona on and when I saw the black sub dials realized it was a meteorite face. Looked great with the trophy. Very civilized affair!

Hublot Big Bang Integrated Green Ceramic. Super, super classy watch! Beats a Rolex every day and twice on Sundays! Can you believe it‘s only $24k, what a screaming deal, surely sells for well above retail.

It was one of the best finals I've ever seen.

Pretty sure Djokovic's dad was wearing a Patek world time in blue & WG and his mum a white aquanaut.

Some interesting pieces in the crowd. Captain Patek (Stormzy) was not wearing a Patek (shocked) but a 11610LV.

Congratulations Carlos. Spanish tennis is in good hands.

Wouldn’t a Nadal ~ Alcaraz final at next years French be something?

Looks interesting on their website and readily available to order. Not my speed, looks like a swatch from the 80s, lol

The guy is already a legend at 20. He deserves a sack of meteorite Daytonas. Class act.

Big Alcaraz fan here. What a talent and class act. Most interesting to me is that he won Wimbledon with so little experience on the grass courts.

Roger wore a steel blue dial Skydweller to Wimbledon this week.

In Spain we are so proud of him, and happy he is the number 1 Rolex priority as sportsman. He is unbelievable. Rolex and Nike were quite fast with their endorsements. Rolex is paying 8m a year…..
