Steel bracelet for VC overseas second generation chronographs

I am interested in an used VC overseas second generation chronograph. However, the watch I am looking at only comes with rubber strap. It's model number is 49150/000a-9745.

I would like to order a steel bracelet for this watch and asked a couple of boutique in town. Their answers were divided. One said it is orderable and quoted me a price. The other one said it is not possible. So I am quite confused.

As the steel bracelet on this watch is ultimately what I want (and it is a better deal for me to buy a rubber strap watch and add on a bracelet) I don't want to take the risk to buy it and then find out I actually can't buy a bracelet from VC boutique.

I just wonder if anyone of you have similar experience before to share.

Thanks for your comments in advance.

I bought the gen 2 chrono on rubber as well. I had no problem ordering a bracelet for it from an AD.

Though to be honest, I have grown to prefer it on rubber most of the time.

Thank you for the replies, very helpful

May be it is a silly question, I know VC extended it's warranty from two to eight years. I bought this preloved overseas Chrono from the secondary market. The watch was dated late 2015. I wonder watches from that time could also enjoy 8 years warranty.

No, I’m afraid not.

VC only announced the extension in Jan 2022, only applying to examples that were still in their original warranty period. So anything prior to Dec 2019 missed out.
