Was in Qatar last week & they were offering 8% off this model. This whole thing of "Tudor does not allow us to discount their watches" is nonsense. To answer your question, I wouldn't buy that at retail.

I’ve thought about this before and for (via grey) $15k Blancpain has a much better offering (movement and rubber strap). $10k would be my threshold for the gold Tudor.

I wouldn’t pay 50% for it.

If it was full gold I would pay retail for it.

But as is, I would consider 40% off MSRP but ideally 45-50%

I would, only if the AD treated me well during their “good” times

Personally I don’t see the value in them at that price

This is such a strange one, I have 2 Tudors and enjoy them from a standpoint of being great, fun watches offering incredible value for money, wear anywhere & not worry etc. This 18k watch isn’t that.. a Tudor at this price point just isn’t it for me. Would always feel like those funds could go towards something much more exciting. That said!… I actually love the colours and entire brushed finishing, super cool, I bet they’re a lot below retail used?

I feel very similar. $18K is too high, a gold Tudor sports watch on strap for around $10-12K might be very desirable. I’m not really a PM guy but the price for the watch versus price for the material has always been way out of line.

You can find them for 10-12k USD if you’re patient

If I wanted it and couldn't get a discount I would pay the asking price. In this instance I can think of better things to do nearly £15k, including keeping the money. You do you. Your money, your choice.

Absolutely I understand, I'm not buying this piece anyway but I was asking the forum in general

In that context, it's a firm no from me. But it's always good to have choice.

It's a piece I don't understand, Tudor are known for competitively priced watches but they have completely missed the mark with this particular one.

Strange pricing

If I wanted it, yes.
But I do not want to own this watch, so no.

Absolutely not. Tudor and omega gold has no future value imho. And is no even that high quality. Stick to steel on these brands.
