So I got a Daytona ... Again

Went grey and traded my RG YM 40 + a Kermit for it and I'm more than ok with it.

For some reasons I can't get to love the new Daytona no matter if steel or PM they just don't talk to me the way the old do, so the opportunity came and I pulled the trigger.
Tho I'd say this is the most common / "boring" dial you can get for the rose gold, I also think it's the most beautiful and striking one, and again, the new black dial with the sundust dial and sundust sub dials just doesn't do it for me.

I still think out of all the Daytonas I had (this is my 5th) the white gold on oyster flex is the one that to me always felt extra special and the only one I regret trading, but this one could be a close second, the contrast is something else.

Anyway enough talking, enjoy some wrist shots :)

Congrats, I love my OF daytona, I feel it's rolex's best for fit, comfort and a balance between flashy and wear-ability in most situations.

Love that combo, I was waiting for that piece at my AD, but it took a while and they offered the chocolate dial. I took it and glad i did since they discontinued both black and chocolate dials. No regrets.

Can I ask why didn’t you buy the 519 again if that was your favourite? Or new 126519?

On the grey market there are none available around me nor nearby cities, AD are a pain here and despite me asking it for years the answer has always been, Daytona = impossible, forget it.

I could have waited for one to pop up but I like to attach my achievements to the watches I get and this week I finished some big projects so it was a good time to get it.

Last but not least I ve also always really wanted to experience this one before committing again to the white, who knows, maybe this is actually THE one
