Our Take
Quickly becoming a crowd favorite, the Explorer II ref. 16570 comes in either a gloss black dial or the white "polar" variant. One of the great neo-vintage 5-digits, These Explorer IIs have all the modern reliability of a watch from the 1990s and 2000s but are sized at a more classic 40mm, which comfortably fits all wrist sizes. This early 1990's example features a beautiful tritium dial with matching tritium hands.

The ref. 16570 for sale is in very good pre-owned condition with little signs of wear. The tritium dial and hands are in excellent condition and have a slight patina to them. The case is in good condition, which appears to have been previously polished before. The bezel has some wear as pictured but is in good overall condition. Additionally, there is a minor knick in the crystal towards the 12 o'clock. The watch is keeping time within COSC Specifications and just received a full service on the movement by an independent watchmaker. Includes the original box, papers dated 1991, and hangtag.
