Mauron Musy

I am being offered this Mauron Musy Armure watch for $6k. I am not familiar with this watch so i am not sure if the asking price is fair? Would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

The nO-ring system is interesting and the engineering required is very precise

The price you have posted is reasonable for that model but I would pass on the one you have shown.

It looks as if it has been opened with the incorrect tool at some time?

There are a ton of other options in the $6k price range. It doesn’t sound like this piece was even on your radar if you aren’t familiar with it, so why are you suddenly considering it just since it is being offered to you? Or is my assessment inaccurate?

I am getting interested now with
small independent watch makers and would like to acquire a few in the near future.
