Drive de Cartier… which dial? And why?

I am really itching to pull the trigger on a Drive de Cartier. I love the case shape, size and style of the watch. Which dial though would you get and why?

I’ve always been a fan of the moonphase as the least busy and most pretty complication

This one - keep it simple.

Between the 2 choices, I'd go with moonphase. The other dial choice is too cluttered. But given the choice of any Drive, I'd go with extra flat.

I'd choose the Moonphase because the other Drive I care for how the grand date cuts into the hour marker at 12, it ruins the dial layout and all the complications just look far too busy. However, my real first choice would be the Extra-Flat. Nicer Piaget based movement, and perfect proportions!

I always liked the small seconds version. Was very close to getting one.

Of the two I would go with the Moonphase. I like the dial better.

On the top one, what is the complication on the right? Looks like an eyeball.

Moonphase by some margin myself, and it’s certainly on my list.

By way of an update, I coudn't find the right moonphase, at the right price and in the right location. Have just bought this, though, which should land later this week... very happy as it was a good price and UK-sourced.
