That’s a backward trade. Are you saying you want jazzed up Pepsi over a high comp sport Patek.

Please help —-TRADE PP 5960p for meteorite GMT
Depends on your current collection really. Generally though, I wouldn’t. Unless you have the taupe dial with white sub dial 5960. In which case, yes I would.

I’m not sure dollar wise if the trade is fair. If it is, I would, if you don’t enjoy the Patek.

If I needed a gmt function….maybe. If not, that’d be a tough choice for me. They’re both very nice. Very personal choice , as they’re very different watches visually and functionally.

Not sure about this one. Thought the meteorite is a hot watch, I could not make out the time on quick glances, so I passed on it. As much as I wanted to buy this hype watch, I could not get past that quirk.

I would not.
You should get some money back (not paying). Actually it depends on the condition of these two timepieces too.

I prefer the looks of the Rolex but without knowing values it is difficult to say.

No way for me. Unless you just don’t love your PP anymore and are not wearing it? Even then there are other Rolexes in the catalogue I would prefer if I were trading out of a PP.
Just personal preference. I absolutely love the GMT Meteorite but only to admire, not to own. |

Given how polarizing aesthetics can be, you’re the only one who can decide if it’s worth it.

The problem with every thread regarding whether to trade A for B plus or minus cash is related to personal preferences of everyone who participates in the discussion. Hence responses tend to be all over the board which seems apparent in this instance. My personal preference would be the GMT Meteorite over the PP. Assuming the the current owner of the Rolex is 100% legitimate, I seriously doubt this thread will solve the OP’s dilemma.

While I like the meteorite dials, I personally would stick to the 5960.
