FS:1930's Rolex 3372 18kt Bubbleback

This is a 1930's era 18kt yellow gold Bubbleback ref. 3372 in superb condition. The case is thick and the back is the 'flatter' style from the early 1930's. The 'engine turned' bezel retains its sharp styling showing no signs of overpolishing. The crystal is original, as is the crown. All show minor scratches from wear, but the case and bezel retain the thick lugs and distinctive styling original to the watch.

The dial is particularly distinctive. It has a minute track, 12 hour track, and military 24 hour track. It is also a 'mirror track' - the ring separating the minute and hour tracks is the underlying brass base showing thru, and changes appearance depending on lighting. I have tried to show this in the photos. The hands have been replaced but are period correct.

The ref. 630, 18 jewel movement was serviced by Tommy Taylor (from whom I bought the watch). It runs well, autowinds, and keeps good time. The serial number (5xxxx) is clearly visible on the back.
