The 5513 bracelet saga continueth

A while back I joined and asked about the old 5513 I bought from a mate. I have put it in to get restored here in Sydney (not at an AD). Max, the watchmaker, dated it to 1965 and says the dial is 100% original.
It came on a Jubillee bracelet which I assumed was a later addition but you folks have told me it could have come that way.
here are some pics of the bracelet and the Tudor I had placed it on. The bracelet has written on it "Jesko's"(?); "Hecho en Mexico" and Acero Inoxidable (or words to that effect). There are no marks on the shoulders.
So could a mid-60s 5513 have come with this bracelet?
The shoulders never fit the Tudot 100% "flush" so I am putting something else on the Tudor. As for the 5513, when it comes back I think a nice stripey Bond NATO strap will do the trick. (Let the abuse begin).

Pics of the bracelet itself have upload errors so will again later. But the description and the wording on the clasp should give the detectives out there some clues.

Hi, I'm not sure if your Mexican made bracelet was available in the 1960's, but it was available in the 1970's - as I have seen several here in Texas and on some of the forums. They are a genuine bracelet manufactured for Rolex in Mexico. Much like the C&I bracelet manufactured in the USA for Rolex watches.

The clasp says "Joske's". It's in OK shape. Small ding near the Rolex crown. One of the links looks like it's been pried open and then closed with pliers! My googling can't answer me when Joske's was manufacturing bracelets for Rolex. !965 (watch serial number is 150XXXX) would be a good year and then I'd keep it for the 5513. But then I would have to find out if it was a North American 5513. How does one do that?

joske's

The only Joske's I ever knew was the large, Texas department store chain. That firm was eventually merged into Dillard's.

Due to the import laws at the time, Rolex did use Bracelets manufactured in Mexico to their specifications.. They were imported separately from the watch heads and mated together in the US.

I would suspect that your Jubilee bracelet was added later on.

The end-links almost never actually match the lugs of cases, but it dos appear that the end link has been squeezed together. This was probably done to try to stop the rattling after some wear.. The correct fix for that is a new spring bar of the correct size and a slightly bent to the bat-wing "ears" on the back of the end-link..

Personally, I don't think I would use the Jubilee on the Sub and fit it properly to the Tudor. The Sub should be on a proper Oyster..
