Stolen watches with serials

Hello all, I posted this in the general discussion but I am posting this here as well because it involves some vintage watches.

Our house was broken into and burglarized which included theft of a safe with our entire watch collection including several vintage watches.
I am including the serial numbers here in case they turn up somewhere. I have already filed a police report as well.

Rolex datejust 16234 T659629

Rolex gmt master 1675 1627867
And
Rolex submariner 5513 5276671

Again any help or information in recovering the above watches would truly be appreciated.

That's awful, I'm so sorry to hear that. I will certainly keep an eye open. Can you perhaps change the title of the thread to indicate that you've posted serial numbers of stolen watches?

Thanks. Not quite sure how to change the title since it’s already posted. The edit button only lets me edit the post but not the title.

Nvm I just figured it out. Changed.

Very sorry to hear about your loss of such a nice collection.
You could have listed all those other Rolexes here too.
There is plenty of sound advice provided for you there to help in moving forward.
But for now as a community we feel for you…
Sorry Man!!!

Utter stinker.. ..bottomless commiserations to you, I know how the intrusion and loss can feel.

If in UK the Watch Register database is useful they have recovered many hundreds for insurers over last 10 years. But no use in USA I guess....

Be great if Rolex had a lost and stolen database still, so any coming in for service (thieves are idiots/have short memories), would get flagged and returned to owner/insurer post claim payment !

Hope some resemblance of rectification comes along for you....

In the uk and worldwide Rolex still do have the lost and stolen register if you lose or your watch is stolen you call them they add the serial to the database for you.and if the watch comes in for service it will get seized by rolex, what made you think they stopped registering stolen watches ?
