FSOT: 1979 ROLEX DateJust 16030
Hello all. Up for sale is a stunning 1979 ROLEX DateJust 16030. "Crisp" is the word that comes to mind when describing this watch. Thick lugs, unpolished engine tuned bezel, flawless silver dial, this watch is ready for getting dressed up or getting dressed down. At 36mm, this classic wears easily with just about anything you throw at it. Being a early 5-series Rolex, inside you will find the venerable Caliber 3035 movement which introduced the quick-set date feature, making the watch ideal for non-every-day wear, and a higher beat rate for a smoother seconds hand. Still, with the plexi crystal, the watch has that unmistakable vintage vibe.
It is currently running with a strong amplitude of ~280 degrees, indicating no need for service for at least a a number of years. Over the movement sits an eye-catching silver dial with all its lume plots still in place. As pictured, it comes on its original 62510H bracelet sizable to about a 7in wrist and no box or papers. I am asking $4200 via bank wire or Zelle, or PayPal+fees or Venmo (if you have good feedback / references). Can ship world-wide. Have numerous references on WUS, Reddit, TRF, and eBay. Trade-ins are welcomed. You can reach me via PM / sonic952525@gmail.com / IG@ timepiece_treasure_box. Thanks for looking.
