Rolex turning the GMT into Omega Aquaterra

I mean really ? how many different color combo bezel inserts are needed? it’s getting ridiculous now.

Like they’re easy to get ..

Not like they’re flooding the market and watering it down ..

Far less combinations than the Daytona and Day Date.

3 right-handed stainless steel combinations, and one left-handed. That's it and it seems pretty reasonable to me.

The Aqua Terra has so many combinations that I won't waste my time counting them on their website.

+1

A touch dramatic, perhaps. I wonder what the response would be if the actually released a Coke?

Choice is a good thing.

I think I also read somewhere that Jean-Frederic Dufour’s has a personal preference for the GMT references

Yeah, GMT doesn't strike me as excessive at all. If you want to compare something to the AT the DateJust seems the obvious choice. Between material choices, bezel options, bracelet choices, and then dials.....there are a lot of DJs of just a single size....then add size into the mix and it's a lot of watches.

GMT seems pretty reasonable.

Not an excessive amount of combos compared to some omegas but just kind of a boring release. They should have done the coke bezel.

8 steel combos, 2 TT, 4 Full Gold. Coke soon, most probably Rolex won't discontinue any bezel. It already discontinued Milgauss ,and YM II which are not coming back, and expanding production in the next few years. Rolex needs more models or references.
