Besides, the person buying that watch either knows about the current market and doesn't care or doesn't know about the current and definitely doesn't care.
People buy hype these days. That’s why that $6k entry level Rolex is absurdly priced all because of the shade of blue

Not worth it to me in any way shape or form, but I can understand why someone else might pay it

You might be right about the hype, but I do not agree with the ugly part. This is a beautiful watch in person.

Yes, but that does not seem to be a real number to many who simply buy into the idea that it is worth whatever someone else is willing to pay. I don't have unlimited money but could certainly come up with that kind of money if I really wanted to I suppose. I simply won't pay that much for a watch that Rolex sold to and AD for $4000 the week before. I just refuse to be a pawn in the artificially tight suppy/narcissistic Instagram game that the Brand has become.
It's not a watch I would be caught dead wearing but I can appreciate it is a pretty little thing as pure art. So for that I'll allow it is a $6000 watch but paying a $30k premium for a unique dial color is so far outside my world I can only sit back and scratch my head.

I feel lucky that I have no interest in this watch, so I wouldn't even pay retail.
My top offer for that watch would be about $2,500.00, just for the novelty of it.

I suppose that they are simply waiting for someone to bite, and honestly they might get someone considering that they are a conglomerate grey market company
