I’m going to send it to the RSC for a full polish. They will sort out any hard water stains!

I forgive you on the shower part but you went hiking with your SD?
That’s unforgivable :-)
Sell it, let someone else deal with it :-)))

Anyway, I jumped in the shower and forgot to take off my SD43! I know, crazy right and worse...it got really wet!

Not only did water splash all over it but also doused with shampoo. If this could be even worse, it was hot in there too. There was STEAM like in a sauna so that’s really bad!

Do you think the seals were damaged by the hot water and steam? Potential corrosion from the shampoo? Damn my foolish rushing about!

What should I do? Send it to the RSC or find a local authorized repair center? I’ll have to call my insurance agent in the morning and put in a claim for the water damage now.

Will it ever be as good as new again? Maybe I should just sell it cheap and let someone else deal with it.

Just look at this mess...

Cute but seriously we all know it can take much more than a little bit of shower water; the real question is, will it? Take it on some real adventures!!!

MANIAC!

Quick! Throw it in a bag of rice and seal it. If you hurry, you can avoid pitting corrosion in the caseback and water ingress.

Best of luck. I pray for your watch and it's resale value. If all works out, I hope you learned your lesson and keep your SD43 in the safe where it belongs.
