Personally I'm not a fan of "fancy" dials. I'm not even much of a fan of sunburst dials, so MOP is way too far for me!

That said, I appreciate there's a market for that kind of thing, so it'd work just fine on DJ's and OP's. But for me it'd be an absolute no-go on the Professional/sports models. JMO

I could see a really colorful MOP being overpowering but the silvery white ones on a 2 tone watch really mellow the MOP.

I could see a Daytona with MOP on subdials only being pretty classy too.

I like the handmade element of them and how they’re piece unique. It’s similar to meteorite but instead of iron crystals it’s animal made like a pearl. It’s a strange thing to think about. It’s sort of like ivory which I like as well but unethical. I also like ivory handled revolvers.

It’s nice but it’s got stiff competition. This is actually billed at a mother of pearl dial as well.

Only $99.99 buy 3 get 1 free. You can pay in 5 easy installments of $19.99. If you call now they will make the first and last payment for you. Limited time offer you buy now! People are saying the Daytona is the copycat.

Now that's a beauty right there. I wonder if it's real pot metal under that brass plating.

Does the installment end after 5 times or does it keep going until I call and opt out?

Black mother of pearl daytonas are super underrated. Just as nice as the new meteorite imo at less than half the market price

I was just having this exact conversation with my wife about 30 minutes ago. I happen to really like the mother of pearl dials but she doesn’t…go figure.

I think if they marketed the MOP as a divers and nautical dial and not a “ladies” and gemstone and precious metal dial it would be really popular
